The next option is a 2.8-liter four-cylinder unit that makes 175 HP and 308 lb-ft of torque. The last engine one and the stronger is a 4.0-liter six-cylinder with the direct injection system. This type of engine will be able to produce at least 280 HP and 285 lb-ft of torque. All three powertrains will be available with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, the two-wheel drive system this year is also standard, while the four-wheel-drive configuration is optional.
2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo Model
The limited edition 2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo is also introduced in India. This model will come with the updated styling package. It will be more aggressive than the standard model. However, both models will share the same 2.8-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood. The only difference will be that the TRD Sportivo version will get a new suspension.
Also, both models will be available with 2WD and 4WD variants. Moreover, the styling package installed to this SUV will add a blackout grille with a brushed metal finish and the new stronger bumper.
